Have you ever wanted to host a Murder Mystery Party and the idea got tossed aside because you didn’t know where to start?

We had the pleasure of creating a CUSTOM Murder Mystery Party for our clients 40th birthday last month that blew everyone away – The best part? Her guest had no idea they were in for a thrilling night!

Inspired by her favorite TV show Murderville, our client had a vision of engaging her guests in groups throughout rooms in her house as detective teams on duty. We had the ability to take over their garden and 2 out of 3 levels of their home where we added a tent + rentals ( EventWorks), string lighting (TNEventDesigns), and shifted/turned furniture to create this experience.

After a delicious meal put together by the amazing Sip-n-Bite and cocktails by Perfectly Cordial, our lovely British Murder Mystery Host asked for everyone’s attention and announced “There has been a Murder” – Yes, thunder claps an all! You can imagine the curiosity built up in the room as they opened their team assignment in wax sealed black envelopes and had police badges given.

We even had (2) Pianists setting the tone of the night by EVA!

Now I can’t express enough how fun it was to welcome the guests through a murder scene room and into a briefing room where the learned of the case, the suspects, took notes, and went on their way to interrogate the suspects. As they walked into the briefing room they received pads, pens and their team files including the suspects, clues, etc.

Next, the teams were tasked to interrogate the suspects and we sure had a fun interactive distraction for each one of them! Our suspects were a bartender, a chef, and a photographer assistant. As the bartender got interrogated she mixed cocktails for them, as the chef was interrogated he presented out dessert, and as the photographer assistant was interrogated we had the amazing Tausha Dickinson take portraits photos of the guests that instantly downloads on their phones! The outcome of these photos…. JAW DROPPING! 

Lastly, we had he teams come together to share their thoughts on Murder & Motive where we lined-up our suspect and ONE was arrested – It was a total blast and night to remember!
